After a contribution to Metaphore Industrie last year in our compilation "ICI DANSE LE PEUPLE OUBLIE", the Brussels-born Antoine 80 is making his debut with an EP of 8 mystical and spiritual tracks, inspired by the codes of the French tekno tribe, and drawing on the desire of a different world, like the generation of young producers in search of immateriality he belongs to.

This EP starts with the idea of a landscape: in the heart of a rural area, sparsely populated, it progresses slowly in a path of tall grass at nightfall.

At the end of the path, a pond as a place of spiritual ceremony. The sun sets and the ritual begins: Antoine 80 imagines a myriad of spirits circling around the marsh, far from the cities, where everything is still possible. And, to the dance of these spirits that he imagines translucent, are joined flies and frogs which shine under the moon.

"L'ESPRIT" is composed of 4 linear and fast tracks, tinted with the colors of this spirit of great party in the marsh; and is interspersed with 4 more theatrical interludes, with voices, as if to convey presences and breaths. Rhythms and dynamics collide, while moments of pressure always precede moments of relaxation.
